"The room was clean, modern and with all of the basics. I met my husband there for his second night and he assured me that it was clean and didn't smell bad. Well, my husband can hardly smell anything! When I arrived and met my husband outside, his clothes had a really funny, not-good smell, like my grandparents old house. And sure enough, it was the room! Now granted, I have a very acute sense of smell, more than most. Opening the windows to air it out helped a bit. After a while, I got used to it and was able to sleep ok. I did need to wash all of my clothing upon returning home. It was clean, and the grounds were lovely with planters full of flowers. And if your nose is like my husband's, you won't even notice the old-building smell!"

"The room was clean and the front desk was friendly and efficient. We arrived late at night and requested an extra toothbrush. We also got wine glasses for the bottle of wine given to us. The AC was very noisy and the walls were porous. Noise travels easily from the outside."

"Hotel is undergoing major renovations. When I entered room it was having a strong paint smell. I had to breathe in the toxic fumes for a while until the person came in, fixed the AC (which didn't work in the beginning) and open up the balcony door a little bit for the stale air to escape. Breakfast was frozen items and expectation was to heat in the microwave and eat. Parking zone had a huge crane parked and it was scary to park my car in there. The hotel name (vue) changed to cityview by Marriott during my stay!"
