Out of hotels that I've stayed at LAX area, this had been the nicest. It's clean and staff were very caring. Lots of options for food. Just wish this long standing strike would be resolved. It's been going on for a long time and several hotels have had people striking, marching around the front with megaphone and drums...this is one of them.

R arrived from New Zealand after a 12-hour flight to be met with them not honoring our reservation. They then proceeded to come up with various stories why we didn’t have a room… from they had sent us an email that they were unable to process our charge card to telling us that we were sent an email telling us reservation was cancelled. When asked for a copy of this email there were crickets. Then they said they had decided to cancel all bookings that were not covered because of company policy to that issue. Then it switched to “ it was a leadership decision because they were overbooked!! Here I the kicker… a text message we received on the morning prior to our hotel arrival. Hello James, our team can't wait to welcome you to Holiday Inn Los Angeles - LAX Airport! We have you arriving 04/28/2024 and 04/29/2024. If you have any questions about your stay please don't hesitate to text us. As a friendly reminder, check-in time is anytime after 3 pm. The Spot Restaurant is open from 5 pm to 10.30 pm daily. We look forward to seeing you soon! If you need our Shuttle reply "Shuttle Info". It was only when I asked for the Holiday Inn executive number that the set suddenly found a room. Never again will we stay there nor would we recommend. Other guests standing in line came by to compliment us on handling them and keeping their feet to the fire!

Property well located for quick access via 24 hour shuttle to and from LAX, which was a primary consideration in selecting it. Rooms could use a little maintenance (e.g. our tub/shower leaked across the bathroom floor and there was evidence this had happened before). Check-in was easy and staff was professional.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet, making for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others

The property overall was ok and clean. Staff was nice. However after a long day of travel we woke up at 6 am the next morning to people yelling, pots and pans being banged together, someone with a horn (non-stop). There were protestors at the front door protesting some sort of contract. Wouldn’t let people in or out without harassing them. This went on for about an hour or two before they left. Plus there is a 40 dollar a day parking fee which is completely ridiculous!

kids love the pool and the beds.. also the soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner provided. the only negative was no microwave on our room and there’s water mark on the carpet that seems like a bit old building. But overall, it’s a nice hotel

No instructions on when or where to find the shuttle at LAX international. Repeated emails to the hotel went unanswered. Took 2.5 hrs to locate the pick up point, and wait for rhe shuttle. Repeated calls for assistance kept getting dropped. After a 28 hour international flights, i was over it. Key card failed twice, elevator stopped on 4th floor and would not open, i needed the 8th floor. Staff were kind. Room was lovely but very noisy. Unable to sleep.

I was given a room with no shower curtain, I was so tired from my 15 hour flight back from Australia I didn’t notice till it made a major water problem on the bathroom floor. The other major problem I had was the shuttle to the airport in the morning. The driver over loaded the shuttle every seat was filled he just keep putting more people and large suitcase in the aisle between us. At one point a very large suitcase fell over on my right knee !! Since we were packed in so tight there was no getting out of its path. I limped thru airports and my knee stiffened up on me during my flights. It is not an experience I ever want to repeat.

most offer free breakfast, not this place. was told the shuttle runs every 20 minutes, was lied too, had to Uber to make it to the airport on time. the toilet clogged up too. the noise from the people was really loud out front on strike.

I loved the breakfast and that they had dove brand things. We also got free toothpaste. I just wished the employee would smile more and also that the room was darker.

The room wasn’t cleaned very well, hair pieces all over the bathroom, the sheets had a huge shoe print on them where you could clearly see the bottom of the shoe tread , also at 6:30 am they had protesters outside banging on all sorts of things as well as megaphones screaming so I was woke up out of my sleep. It lasted almost 2 hours.. I will never again stay here.

I was not impressed by the facility. We we tried to check in the staff member was very rude. The house cleaning staff we very loud and talked in the hallways all afternoon and morning.

Great location, reasonable price, decent breakfast. The staff were very nice and the room was as expected. Unfortuanately we were awoken at 7am by protesters. Apparently there is a contract dispute and they were banging drums and chanting multiple times during our stay. I this the hotel's fault? It definitely affected our stay though. Quite disappointing when we arrived after flight delays at 3am.

We liked that it has airport shuttle service - however that is difficult for a new customer because the automated message about how to find the shuttle at LAX is not detailed enough. We were looking for the shuttle stop on the arrival level and it is on the departure level; I'm not saying that that does not make sense, just that the instructions didn't say and it had been a long flight and LAX is a zoo. Getting back to LAX the next morning was fast and convenient. We were too tired to eat anywhere other than the McDonalds right outside the door - that was easy and sufficient.
