The clerk upon check in was super friendly and helpful. The main problem I had was with the TV remote, it was very difficult to get the buttons to do anything consistently. I believe, for most people in a hotel room, that the TV is extremely important.

The outside looks pretty beat up and creepy but the inside is cute and clean. It’s decent for the price and it’s close to Redondo Beach so it’s perfect for me. The staff was nice and I will be a returning guest.

The rooms are spacious, luggage won't get in the way of moving around, unlike some places where the room size is a two foot perimeter around the bed. The quality of shower head, water pressure, mattress comfort vary from room to room. Many food options that are walking distance and Target store for your hair care, toothpaste,snacks, Starbucks inside!

To my surprise, my room was decent and clean. No smells, stains, roaches and the vinyl floors were clean. The facility itself is old, hallway carpets are dirty—needs major upgrade. Despite it all, if you want a decent, clean and comfortable stay, I recommend you stay in this hotel. I might book another night while waiting for my apartment.

During my stay, when I was sleeping, I noticed the first night that something had bitten my arm and then my hand. I woke up and checked the sheets, and I found a bed bug. I killed it, and the next night was worse. My two arms had several papules. Overall, the room looked clean but the big issue was that the room was infested with bed bugs.

We booked the deluxe queen room, not aware it was a “smoking room” as there was no info when booking regarding this, and were unable to switch to a non-smoking room, which I imagine is what is pictured on the site when booking. The room had an extremely strong and consistently overpowering odor of cigarettes, we spotted cockroaches crawling around, and ants coming up from the sink drain. It seemed like the staff did what they could with what they were provided, but the property itself was terribly maintained, walls and floor, including the shower wall, were very damaged and deteriorating, and a screw sticking out from the handlebar in the bathroom.
