I was a single traveler who had booked a room with a king bed. When I arrived, I was told they had overbooked, and all they could give me was a room with two double beds, for which they charged me the same amount of money as my king bedroom would have cost. I had prepaid for the room, and to be told they'd overbooked was inexcusable. Moreover, had they truly overbooked, they could have called me or texted me or emailed me and let me know that there was a problem, so that I could have made alternate arrangements had that been my choice. Bottom line, I got the old bait and switch.
