A couple of times a month I have to work in this area and need a place for the night I will continue to come to TradeWinds for all the right reasons. The staff are very accommodating even late at night. The room is clean and does not smell bad. It is very close to amenities like restaurants and such. And the price is very very balanced for what I'm receiving. My wife Is disabled And they have been very accommodating To allow us to have A room on the bottom floor as well as allowing us to bring her service animal. We really like this place they deserve the good rating that they have.

If you don't mind mold around the tub, graffiti on walls and toilet, plus taped up shower head, then it's ok. Parking is free

If you stay here, make sure to get a receipt for any cash deposit you make. During check-out, the staff told me that I had not left a deposit and that they couldn’t find any record of the cash. Cash deposits should be properly recorded and kept in a secure place or register! I had to specifically ask to speak with the staff member who had received my cash deposit when I checked in. Even then, she seemed confused about the situation. I insisted that I had handed her the deposit, and eventually, she was able to return my money. I STRONGLY recommend getting a receipt, so you have proof of any cash deposit you make. … Besides that, the place was clean and well kept. The Long Beach Towne Center (shopping center, movie theater, restaurants) is right across the street too.

Unfortunately I had to leave during the night to look for another hotel. I was staying in a 2 bedroom suite type room & with I came back from my event the place was infested of roaches. They were even on the headboard on the beds and everywhere in the restroom. I have multiple videos and pictures and tried showing the front staff but it seems this is something they’re aware of because they just gave my key deposit back and said to call Expedia so they can assist with a refund. I was stuck at night with a child and nowhere to stay, and once i had Expedia on the line the hotel front desk disconnected their phone and never answered to process my refund. No receipt or paper was provided either to show I didn’t stay the night so I can submit a claim. My advice is if you need to leave the room, stay in the lobby til your refund is processed. The sheets on the bed had holes and burn marks & the pillow cases were stained black. The cleanliness of the room was as an issue as well. Nothing was done to accommodate.

Laundry room has only 1 washer and 1 dryer, and Small microwave. Supposed to be open 8am-9pm. Was rarely open by 8. More like 9 or 10am
