"Nice hotel in a good location, lots of history. Parts of the hotel and rooms require maintenance and updating. Food was good, we had an evening meal and breakfast and choices and quality were pretty good. Overall the hotel is clinging on to 4* status but but still good value for money. We found the staff in every part of the hotel to be polite and friendly and professional."

"Room was clean and good location for our activities in the area. Staff was very nice and helpful. Outside was not maintained well (cigarette butts around the entrance, etc). Parking was limited and we had to park down the street and had to walk in the dark."
