Cruise Ships in Los Cabos

"The room overlooked the beach. We were given two queen beds instead of a booked King bed. The curtains were hanging off the rail. The cleaner did not take away used towels, replenish toilet rolls, replenish empty shampoo or body wash. The whole room needed a paint refurbish. Indoor and out. Adult pool was great. Great pool staff, and very clean. Beach view was great. This quite frankly along with the butler service made the vacation. But not everyone can afford to upgrade. Staff friendly some more than others. Adult only pool staff awesome, some restaurant staff more than others gave excellent customer service. Little things that matter for example, bringing a saucer for a cup, topping up tea and coffee without being asked, use of side plates. The butler service was amazing (Altitude only) very customer service orientated. Very attentive to needs and willing to give advice plus make themself available in times of uncertainty or need. Very impressed with that service. "

"The staff: 10/10 So helpful and friendly they really went the extra mile to answers questions and be extra helpful. Also thank you to the people who were helpful with answering my questions about the food items due to me having dietary restrictions. The room: 10/10 Our room was in the 7th villa it was the only option with an elevator. Nice spacious room on the 4th floor. Room was very clean and tidy housekeeping did great! It was nice that there was a reception close by to us in case of an emergency so we didn’t need to walk all the way to the main lobby! We even got to do our check out process here and by pass the long line at the main lobby check out. Amenities: 10/10 Food / bars: 4.5/10 The drinks were not strong. I recommend getting a double if you order a frozen mixed drink! The breakfast buffets had a wide arrange of items. Mexican Steak house one night for dinner 5/10! They also have a taco bar which we grabbed some late night tacos! Also the snack bars by the pool are handy. Transportation / uber: 0/10 One thing that I disliked about this resort is they did not let our uber driver come through the gate to pick us up. We had to walk outside the gate to meet him! This became quite annoying. Especially when we are in the hot sun. He was able to drop us at the lobby but no pick us up. Quite silly. Be aware if you book an uber on your departure to the airport. They will not be allowed to pick you up at the lobby! We walked with our luggage to the road area!"

"Food was mediocre, one restaurant on site was very rude about my daughter’s food allergies. Room service was wonderful in that aspect. Nothing to do in the evening at resort. Grounds were ok nothing exciting. Views from room were nice even when not full view. Drinks took forever if you were in the pool getting served and it wasn’t that busy. Location was nice since it’s close to marina, glad there was other hotels to visit with the all inclusive (sunset was very nice). For us, we would not stay here again due to service and the food allergy issue since it’s big for us. Good average hotel otherwise. "

"Wonderful resort"

"I had high expectations for the hotel. Upon arrival it was a beautiful looking hotel. After checking in we were greeted by our concierge Oswaldo who said he would make out dinner reservations for the night but in actuality he was trying to sell us a time share. When he knew were we not interested and just wanted to start out vacations he was visibly annoyed. After getting settled in our “Ocean view” room we quickly realized it wasn’t Ocean view at all. We decided that wasn’t a deal breaker so we got ready for dinner and upon arrival we were told that they didn’t have a reservation for us. Our lovely concierge must have either canceled or is make one to begin with. Not impressed The pool closes at 8 and with a lack of entertainment that is a little disappointing to say the least. Breakfast was good and the Italian restaurant was good as well. I will not be returning or recommending this hotel."

"We had the most amazing stay at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos with our 15-month-old—it truly exceeded all expectations for traveling with a toddler. The resort is incredibly family-friendly and made everything feel easy and relaxing. One of our favorite parts was the pool setup, especially the comfortable beds by the pool. Having a cozy place to relax while still being close to the water made such a difference with a little one. We could actually enjoy downtime while keeping an eye on our toddler. The kids activities were fantastic and thoughtfully planned, even for younger children. There was always something engaging going on, and the staff was so warm and attentive. What really stood out was the family time at the Kids Zone. It was such a special space where we could play together, let our toddler explore safely, and make memories as a family. It didn’t feel like just childcare—it felt like a place designed for connection. Overall, this resort is a dream for families with young kids. We felt taken care of, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyed every moment. We can’t wait to come back!"
