I cannot say enough good things about our visit to this property. The views are incredible. We came for 4th of July to escape the sound of fireworks. We watched them from way high up on our balcony and it was magical!
The hosts were more than accommodating. The amenities are unbeatable. They left us farm fresh eggs in the mini fridge! On top of a full bar. Glamping at its absolute finest. They had so many things provided for us - everything you would need to cook and clean. I also want to mention there is a shower in addition to the tub. My daughter loved the big bath tub and all the chickens & geese on the property. We would definitely come back!
The only thing to note is you do hear the cars on the roadside below. A few louder engines kept us up late one of the nights. Hosts provided earplugs which was wonderful! They go above and beyond to make your stay as nice as possible, introduced themselves, and were responsive by text throughout our stay.
We used this cabin as a home base for activities all over the bay area. We did SF on our arrival and departure days, then did things in San Jose and Santa Cruz each day of our stay. The hairpin turns going up and down the mountain are an experience, but the views are so worth it, and enjoying the nature on site was a highlight of our vacation. We loved feeding the chickens, ducks, and geese as well as the koi in the pond, taking walks down what we called the "fairy trail" below the pond, and just sitting and taking in the view. It was so great to have the pantry and bar stocked already so we just had to supplement our chosen snacks like cheese and fruit from the store halfway down the mountain. My only negatives are that it was a little cramped for five people, and the kids complained about the spotty Wi-Fi. I just consider that more encouragement to get outdoors, and we were still able to watch movies and TV together as a family. Highly recommend!
A great place to stay in the Santa Cruz mountains. A little tricky to find and get to with winding mountain roads and no signs but that is part of getting away from everything and hanging with the chicks and ducks and geese all a-clucking. Fully stocked bar and kitchen made it so easy to just have fun. The dozens of huge koi fish will practically climb out of the pond when you start feeding them, and the chickens seemed to like Fritos. Watching the sun setting beyond the trees and hills while lounging in the outdoor bathtub is now a lifetime memory. Go and relax.

Quirky..but cool. Only 10 minutes from downtown saratoga. Clean, well stocked rooms.
It did take quite a while for the water to warm up. There is no desk ir person on site, a pre-email from them would be helpful. Just know what you rented and the key is there!
Wifi is slow and patchy, as is cell service but satellite working ok for texts

What an amazing experience, the host was helpful and attentive to us, whatever we needed was provided promptly. Can't wait to return
The floor was covered in chicken and goose droppings because there were no fences and many chickens and geese ran around, even pooping in front of your room. The outdoor hot tub was completely unusable, and the tub was full of leaves, mud, and dust. It looks like no one has ever cleaned it.I messaged the host on the day I checked in saying there was no hot water outside, but they didn't reply until the next day when I was about to check out.
I normally do not leave bad reviews, but this place was honestly unacceptable. As soon as we arrived, we got a bad feeling. The outside property looked completely trashed with garbage everywhere and broken appliances left around. We tried to ignore it and hoped the cabin itself would be better, but it was just as bad inside. The cabin looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. The bedding had mysterious stains on it, the floors were filthy and looked like they had never been mopped, and the entire place felt dirty. The bathroom was the worst part the door was practically a different color from grime, and the shower had standing water along with mildew and what appeared to be mold. To make matters worse, we could not even safely access the loft because it felt extremely unstable. The photos online are very misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property at all. It looks nothing like the listing and feels completely neglected. We ended up leaving almost immediately because we did not feel comfortable staying there. We contacted customer service for a refund, but the owners denied it, so it was money down the drain. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else. I wish I would have gotten more photos to show but like I said I immediately left.
