"The property is beautiful with all the surrounding lush gardens and pools. Because the property is so large, the slight down side was having to have our whole family of 14 shuttled to and from the pool and restaurant every time. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay very much."

"Went here with my wife and 2 kids (15,12). This place was absolutely beautiful! You are literally in the Rain Forrest and you get a perfect view of the volcano when the fog isn’t there. Expect to have an occasional fly or bug get in your room but the master bed has mosquito nets that go all the way around. With that being said the entire resort was very clean, every single staff member was friendly and it never felt packed at all. The only negative was the food. It was so expensive, basically...

"Breakfast goes from 6:40am-10:00am. great selection of food from rice, beans, chilaquiles, meats, plantains, fruit, cereals, there's even an omlette station and waffle station. Tea selections include black, green and herbal. Hot coffee and hot milk available as well. Juices usually were orange and some type of red (our guess was papaya). Filling because it is all you can eat. "

"This was absolutely one of the best and most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The location was close to everything. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a huge perk and they had the best food! All of the staff that we encountered went above and beyond in their customer service. We didn’t have a single issue and would love to stay there again."

"Overall, we loved this resort. First night in bad room located right next to construction/maintenance area and was very noisy. Do not stay in room 37! Hotel Mgr was very accommodating and upgraded us to a nicer and quieter room. Grounds are beautiful, and great view of Arenal volcano. Thermal springs (at least the top 2 pools) were lovely. Nice outdoor pool patio casual restaurant. Big breakfast buffet, all food was very good. I’d definitely recommend a stay here! And don’t miss Mistico Park...
