"Our hostess Kristi was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts each morning were very nice. We were amazed how quiet our room was even though we were so close to many music clubs, restaurants, etc. We felt safe and took advantage of the streetcar which is walking distance."

The neighborhood is delightful, with many walkable destinations for food and entertainment. Never felt unsafe, even when walking through the neighborhood alone. "Janice is a wonderful host! The house was great! Breakfast's were very tasty (she even fried special eggs for my husband). Make sure if you go there to eat at Sammy's across the street (it was so good, we ate there 3 times. Also Mike the tiger was a highlight (he seems to be active and playful in the mornings). I would definitely stay there again and recommend it!"
