The breakfast wasn't good. There were not many good options. No muffins or sweet breads were availiable and no fruit other than bruised apples. I made a waffle with the mix that was provided and the waffle tasted chemically. Room was very clean, bed was great, A/C was nice and cold. I expected the TV's to have Roku or better channel options.

Area was quiet, staff had excellent customer service. Continental breakfast was nice. The lobby, not to mention the web, offered false hope. It was beautiful. Though, in need of a major upgrade. The room appeared to be clean. However, there were stains on the floor that made me super uncomfortable. Other than the stains, it was all good.

Nice staff-super clean room-old hotel crappy neighborhood but never felt unsafe-if your looking for a place to get good night sleep at a reasonable cost this is a bargain-don't be 1 minute late for breakfast or you won't get any but a cup coffee

The property was clean and the staff was very friendly. The rooms need new carpet and there’s some shoddy repairs in the bathroom and the wall paper needs replaced. Breakfast is ready and nice and clean area to eat for the price it’s a good deal and I stay here 2-3 times a month

The clerk was very pleasant. Room as neat and clean. The building in general needs some maintenance. Carpet shampooed and the ceiling trim in 313 was loose. Just needs some TLC.

Low quality property but priced high. Stained carpets, marked up and stained furniture. Area around the property is run down and dirty. However, it's in a location with easy 10 min access convenient to the Louisville restaurant and bar district in the North West of town.

Well, the room was adequate but almost killed myself on the threshold for the bathroom that was sticking out. Breakfast was fruit loops and waffles, white toast and yogurt. We got our bleached sugar and flour quota in for the day! Pretty sparse and coffee was bad. Water is $2 a bottle, maybe for $150 a night you spare a bottle or two? The bed was comfortable though, tv was good.

Pros and cons

This was just a one night stay with a late night arrival. Pros: Check in was fast and without hassle. The room was fine for our needs as we went to bed right away and planned to leave by 8:30am. No pests in the room that we noticed. Cons: only three cars in the lot but room we were assigned should have been in better condition (the deadbolt didn’t exactly line up so had to put pressure from below the door to lift it so the deadbolt would work, carpet stains, toilet didn’t flush so I had to fix it). I imagine the other rooms are worse then if this is one of the rooms they would rather give to guests? All of this I can deal with. For me the real red flag was the breakfast area. So many fruit flies by the food (in the bread and in the nozzle of the juice machine). The waffle we made came out tasting sour. That has never happened before. Ended up just going somewhere else for bfast. My advice is don’t offer breakfast if you aren’t going to make it sanitary. We aren’t picky and know that we aren’t paying for a luxury experience. But if you offer breakfast, that’s part of the calculation when choosing to book with you. So I expect that I won’t be needing to get breakfast elsewhere for me and my kids. Again for what I absolutely needed (a place to crash before I continued a long drive), it was fine. But the red flag of bugs in the eating area make me concerned about what might have gone unnoticed in my room. I mean no disrespect and wish the owners well.

Pullout couch had not been cleaned in a while. There were crumbs all in the bed part of it. We couldn't use the pullout couch. Small selection for breakfast.
