"We loved how close to Carlsbad Caverns the Inn is. All rooms have been updated and were clean and neat. The only potential drawback is that the only restaurant in the area closes at 3 pm and every Sunday so be prepared to take an evening snack. The store across the street closes at 6 and there is a gas station across the street. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is a cold counter (cereal, juice, muffins, etc). The pool area is very nice and is open from memorial to Labor Day. "

"We had an end room and it was creaking like crazy due to the wind. It was so bad it kept us up. It sounded like a hurricane outside. The issue is that when we complain to the staff, they knew about it. They told us they had a lot of complaints about that. It makes no sense if if they knew about it why would they put us in a bad room where you can hear the wind and the walls are creaking. "
