"The ocean view suite had a spectacular view of the basin and ocean. The location is in the middle of everything. The grounds have many private spots right on the ocean. The on site Tiki bar was enjoyable and on Sat there was a live entertainer who was very good. The pools were nice but would be better if cooled. They are remodeling and it was very loud when we arrived on Fri. The associate at the front desk, Jasmine, was professional, responsive, and friendly. She investigated and texted us to let us know it would stop by 5p and not continue until Monday. The room didn't have towel rods or hooks and no wall art. Felt recently remodeled without final touches. These are the only reasons I didn't give it a 5. I would go back."
Ocean Pointe Suites at Key Largo

"The resort itself is nice enough, but the check in is a bit awkward, as it is not on sight, it is in a strip mall on the main road. The only complaint and it is a small one was I thought, perhaps incorrectly a single load of laundry detergent was included with the rental.. but none were. Again this could have been my misunderstanding, but at other place I have stayed that had washers and driers in the unit, a starter pack of soap was included."

"This place is fantastic. I can be a little bit of a hotel snob and I was completely happy with this place. The room was very clean with comfortable beds and all the amenities you need. The property is so pretty and cozy. Parking was easy. The bikes and kayaks on the property were so nice to have. I would definitely stay here again."

"Staff was friendly. Room was great stocked with dishes microwave full size frig. Spacious and had a pull out couch bed that was so helpful. Had a front area with tables and chairs, plus umbrellas. Pool was clean and refreshing. They even had kayaks, paddle boards to use for free. Bikes for free. Even breakfast for free. And not just your continental one, we had eggs, pancakes, bacon,sausage, French toast, It was awesome. I’m so glad I chose them. I felt safe since I travel alone with my teenager that means a lot to me. It ’s close to a lot of excursions and beaches."

"Recently had a family reunion at Matacumbe Resort staying in 3 different units. All three were different and unique which was fun. The pool was amazing and well maintained. The playground kept the kids busy. The boat dock area was convenient but tight."
