"Location of the hotel was great, easy to get around. The only problem was, the hotel is next to a railway, and you could hear some train noise. The noise was there but not that bad, I could still sleep.
Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious.. living room is kind of small.
Cleaness could be better, we found stain on one of the bed’s linen. Other than that, it was clean."

"A lot to like about the place: location, mod cons, etc but I found the shower a bit lacking. It had a nozzle that didn’t adjust in any way, which had me very close to the wall to get underneath it because of the way it was mounted. The pressure and spray pattern were great either.
But overall, great stay - good sized rooms, washer and dryer in the room, 2 TVs. No major complaints."

"Easy check in. I had asked for two single beds but when I got to my room the single beds were still in a king bed formation, However, a quick call to reception and housekeeping fixed the issue within 10 mins. Very central and close to public transport. Basic but neat and tidy. Beds were comfortable. I didn’t access parking as I travelled on public transport to get there. I would happily stay again."

"We were very satisfied with our stay at the Melbourne Clarion gateway. Although the hotel was a little older it was still a very nice stay. Our room was clean and provided all necessities for a comfortable room. Our view of the downtown skyline was also a memorable part of our stay! We were within walking distance of dozens of restaurants museums and shopping centers. And the meals and coffee at each restaurant never disappoint!
