"The lobby of the hotel was fine. When we walked into our room it smelled musty, we turned on the AC in hopes it would help but the AC kept turning off every couple hours (i woke twice in the night to turn it back on). The pillows were very very thin. The tv connection was poor and kept freezing every couple mins. "Wonderful, overnight stay. Clean and comfortable room and bed and just minutes from south terminals as well as the train to the north terminal, which takes less than two minutes door to door. Would highly recommend, especially if you have an early morning flight. "

"Room was lovely, but really could do with some air-conditioning as it was unbearable to sleep in the heat, the fan supplied was pretty much useless. The staff were fantastic and made us feel welcome throughout.. The only downfall is we had children in the room above us who were constantly bouncing a football! Would I return again? Yes but there needs to be a stricter policy about children."

"Drunk male receptionist took ages to check us in , then given me a room I haven’t book . I have booked one family large room 145 - two green standing single beds and double bed room and I was given one double bed , one single and pull out of this bed to sleep on the floor type matrasse bed , when I questioned this he said that I was suppose to be told this when booked - nonsense I booked via this page with photos of the room - freestanding two single beds !!!"

"We stayed here overnight as our flight was delayed and arrived near the midnight. There is a shuttle at Gatwick platform 9 (south terminal) that will take you to this hotel for £5. The check in was straight forward and easy. The room was super clean with comfortable bed and quiet. Highly recommend for any overnight stay and easy access to Gatwick."

"This hotel is a great location from Gatwick North terminal. It is only a 10 minute walk on a smooth path with just 2 flights of stairs when you enter/exit through the Hampton Inn. It is much more reasonably priced than the hotels inside the terminal. Ideal for morning flights. There is a small selection of tea, coffee and milk in the room but right next door is a gas station with a large selection of drinks, milk, baked goods, snacks and a Prêt à Manger."

"This hotel needs a complete overhaul- very dated, tiny rooms, short of staff and poorly trained when they do turn up. Bedroom over crowded with furniture so you literally have to climb over things to move around- windows don't open, tv doesn't work- very expensive for the quality provided"

"There was no privacy once you draw back the curtains as the room as front facing. There was no A/C in the room which made it difficult on a hot summer day. Staff said that swimming pool was not very big so had to inform them before using to avoid overcrowding."
