The owners were very helpful, they were happy to aid us in charging our car and if you have an electric car you will know what a pain it can be searching for a place to top up."

The local pub has recently changed hands and don't currently have a chef, so if you need food, then plan this on the way as there is nothing within walking distance. :-)"

Unfortunately let down by poor service of staff throughout the stay - front desk, waiting staff and duty manager. Especially the duty manager who asked for extra tips and charged us £8 for a pint of Diet Coke…"

"Overall my stay was satisfactory, but the level of noise coming from back of house staff late at night was appalling. My room was directly above the kitchen/loading area and it was honestly unbelievable how much noise the staff were making "cleaning up" in the evening, consistently from about 8pm-11:30pm when I had enough. It was like they were literally throwing metal containers around and shouting across the space at full volume. I live in central London and have never experienced disruption...

"Ideal for a couple break, in my opinion, not as much for solo business travelling. Rooms are hot but fan was provided when asked. It’s an old building bathrooms could a be bit nicer but feeling of the hotel is great. All beautifully maintained outside and excellent spot for walking. Hence 5 stars review"
