"The room was spotless, warm and spacious. We opted for Deluxe room which was situated in the annexed building on ground level. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of storage and coat/clothes hanging space. Being in a rural spot, we found it very peaceful. A large car park is sited just across the road, which links Perth and nearby Glenfarg. "Hotel very conveniently located to city centre and all it offers, culturally - great museums, sustenance - great restaurants and a lovely walk along the river in the sunshine, also easy walking distance from the station. Room was clean, but a sock was discovered from a previous resident on the desk chair. Bed was comfy, but springs very squeaky. Free breakfast - a wide choice of hot and cold foods. "Hotel reception and check-in was easy and cordial, Room #6 was spacious as was the ensuite, and the staff were eager, energetic, and attentive---especially in the restaurant. The restaurant offered a variety of foods, beverages, and delicious desserts. A+ for the restaurant! However, based upon our experience the only time I would stay again would be in high summer. Room #6 was freezing. And the Dimplex electric wall-mounted heater was pitiful. It would only operate for 90 seconds before...
