"The hotel is in an excellent location - a short walk to the train station and steps away from the Munch museum and the Opera House. The breakfast was outstanding - a fantastic spread. The only downside is that the hotel does not have air conditioning, and although you can open a door (a bit) for some air - if the the temperature outside is 29C its hard to get the room to be less than 26C"

"Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very quiet –- despite being on the second floor overlooking the road and directly across from a construction site. Beds, pillows, and duvets all excellent. There is a coffee service (kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer) in the room. The basement gym is one of the better hotel gyms, with aerobic equipment, weight machines, racks of free weights, and enough floor space for yoga. We did not use the sauna, but saw other guests avail themselves of...

"Staff and location"

"The location is perfect when you are looking to explore the city and travel via train. We were able to walk or take a bus to everything we wanted to see. The room was perfect for our family. They set up an extra bed for our kids, which was ready before we checked in. We got to check in at noon. Also, the breakfast buffet was fantastic. A wide selection of local and international items."
