Hotel nice, room very basic and small, no tea making facilities which for this day and age is very unusual, the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor so we had to put a towel down.
Breakfast was lovely, and had everything you could expect to start the day
We have an electric car and the hotel has charging points, the lady on reception had absolutely no idea how they worked or if we could charge our car anywhere else. The lady in the TI was nice and pointed us in the right direction, when we got it sorted I told the lady on reception that if anyone else asked about charging where to go. She just rudely said well your the first to ask and walked off. They’re are many other hotels in valkenbourg to choose, but this has the swimming pool and free parking.
A 5 min walk into town is easy and the train station is 2 mins away.
Would I stay here again…probably not, only because of the choice of hotels in the town.
