"Beautiful hotel in excellent location ! Roaring river next to the property could be a bit lound for some but we loved it. Unfortunately both the bar and the restaurant were closed but the buffet breakfast on the top floor was great 😃 Next to the abundance of restaurants and shopping."

"I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...

"Wonderful staff and manager Hector. They were always friendly and ready to help in whatever way we needed. The only suggestion for the resort would be to increase the pathway lighting. At night , it is is really hard to see the way back to the cabins."
