The best part of staying here is location to everything that Mackinaw has to offer. Easy walking distance to ferry, downtown, and beach. The staff was very helpful as well. The not so great things are the maintenance of the property and also the kids water park was colder then the lake.

It was a good stay just a little scary that none of the exterior doors on the hotel locked. I get that the main door is always open, but the rear doors are on the building were always open as well. It was a little sketchy, especially because there was nobody in the front office part of the hotel after 9 PM. Then the hotel room door just had the deadbolt. There was no extra security on the doors. The pool was nice, but the water was freezing. Overall, it was OK. I just feel like it needs a little extra tightening on the security for the customer’s sake

The room was clean but a little outdated, the tv is very small, some tiles were coming off in the bathroom, the water in the shower never got truly warm. The website says breakfast is included but it’s actually not and they just give you coupons for restaurants around the area. The water park was nice, the bed was comfortable enough and the price of the room was great.
