"A great apartment on the edge of the old town. Fab views of the sea and of the local area - great for people watching. Good size living / kitchen area with well appointed cooking area. Full sized fridge freezer which is always a bonus. Bedroom at the back with a small rooflight window - no aircon - but a decent fan in both areas. "Great villa and great stay. However, be aware the address on the website is incorrect!! The villa is NOT in Funchal but 45 min drive away up in the mountains. If you want to stay in Funchal, do not book!!"

"A wonderful place to stay in Madeira if you have come for the walking. The villa itself is great with all the amenities you could want - but the best bit is the location. Its easy to get to some pretty good walks either by car or on foot. Parking is straightforward just outside the door - and there is a great supermarket next to the marina a short drive away. But beware - the roads are steep everywhere on the island, so make sure you can do hill-starts !"
