If you are planning on visiting Madinah, do not book this place.
Firstly, trying to locate this apartment is near enough impossible. It is in the middle of nowhere, with access to pretty much nothing. It is not worth booking if you do not have a car yourself. You have to walk at least 10 minutes to get any form of transportation (i.e. taxi) to go somewhere.
When I first arrived at the property, I was waiting around for 5/10 minutes as nobody was present at check in time. After waiting, the property manager/owner turned up to give us a key. He asked for my telephone number so that I could contact him if I required anything. I never received a message from them as they claimed that they had lost my number - I saw him save it on his phone myself. I messaged them on Expedia, where I had originally booked the apartment, yet no response was received after 4 hours of sending my message.
The shower head in the main bathroom does not work. The bidet does not work properly. The toilet does not flush. There are no amenities at the property - nor did the property manager/owner have the courtesy to provide me with any when I initially messaged them on Expedia, where I was ignored. I was told that they do not check their Expedia inbox, where they advertise their apartment.
The communication itself was the biggest downfall for this place and the fact that they have stated that this apartment is a 5 minutes drive from the Prophet's mosque. No. It is a 17/25 minute drive.
