"We stumbled upon this place by accident while looking for a pitstop, and what a find! We originally planned for one night but enjoyed it so much we extended our stay to two. Olivia was great, she was welcoming, friendly, and went out of her way to make us feel accommodated, the zip wire, archery and axe throwing activities were great fun for our children. "Lovely period gastopub right on the river Lugg. Lovely light and fresh accommodation. Food all delicious with a great selection. Their eco wellness spa facilities was a real treat to hire as well, a gorgeous spot to relax in. My wife loved her massage with Charlene as well. Definitely recommend"

"The location was perfect and our room was lovely and clean. Nice pubs and Londis within walking distance. Owners, Kel and Mel were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, giving directions to walks along the canal and the history of the local area. The cooked breakfast was outstanding!"

"The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! "
