Great location if you want to be anywhere within walking distance, metro also very close, simple, clean, friendly staff, in a very busy area, which for us was a plus, downside: walls are thin, but we still enjoyed our time there because it was really convenient, close to shopping and sightseeing spots, a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby, we had a great time

As a first time traveler to Madrid, the staff were incredibly helpful, accommodated to my weak Spanish speaking, and respected my privacy. The building might be a little old, but the rooms were very nice and recently refurbished. Highly recommend for a small cozy spot to rest before exploring the city.

Hostel was located at a pretty central location. Very mediocre room and lot of steps to get into building. Towels were very rough and bad material on your skin. We arrived around 9 p.m to check in and no one there to help us check in. Thankfully we were able to find the sister hotel and get checked in that way , otherwise would have been lot more stressful than it was. Staff seemed kind and helpful, location good as mentioned, and relatively quiet once inside the room (and not much outside noise). I'm not sure if I'd stay there again mainly because of the property condition and lack of amenities.

Hostal is basically a mini-hotel. No extra amenities (breakfast, gym, pool, etc), but lots of great private rooms with personal bathrooms and AC units. The low price and great location more than made up for the lack of amenities I would expect at a more traditional hotel. Staff was excellent and helped us with everything we needed. 100% would stay again

Perfect location and excellent value for money. The room was a little small, but I knew that before booking, so it wasn’t a surprise. Given the price and unbeatable location, it was well worth it. The hotel felt safe and secure, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The neighborhood is a nightlife hub, so it may not be ideal for light sleepers, but that didn’t detract from my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. We LOVED the neighborhood - good restaurants, walking distance to plazas, museums, metro, etc.
