"Our stay at Octant Douro was easily the highlight of our trip to Portugal. We absolutely loved the hotel’s tranquil and picturesque setting along the Douro River. Our room overlooked the river, and we often found ourselves sitting in silence, simply taking in the breathtaking scenery and peaceful surroundings. The pool facilities were beautifully maintained and provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The restaurants were outstanding, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a delicious...

"Hotel muy bien situado para hacer la ruta del románico del valle de Sousa, como era nuestro caso. Hay folletos con información en el vestíbulo del hotel. El desayuno es muy completo y variado y estaba incluido en el precio de la habitación. El personal es muy amable. Hay parking gratuito alrededor del hotel, zona segura y bien iluminada. Las habitaciones son grandes, camas cómodas, y con kitchenette (poco equipada de menaje pero no nos hizo falta, con lo que se podrá preguntar en recepción...

"Our stay at covelo was exceptional, the room was clean and very comfortable. Our top floor room had a view of the city and the river! Our host Beatrix gave us many suggestions to take advantage of the surrounding hiking trails as well as the many restaurants. Breakfast was supplied by the café across from our and will give you a great start to your day 😀 we would definitely stay there again! Thank you very much 😊"

"This property clearly has a home touch to it. Very much a bed and breakfast experience. The owner is very attentive to your needs. The only thing we found lacking was a good restaurant nearby."

"The hotel is set on a hillside facing the Douro River. Our room had an incredible view. The place is quiet and well-maintained. Our room was clean and had all the amenities of home. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and they offered to make you eggs and pancakes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
