"On checking in to my stay, the staff were very unhelpful. So much so that they didn’t explain to me that in the morning there was a back door you have to exit from, without knowing this information I found myself locked in the property with no idea how to get out. This made me very late for work. My room was boiling, and wasn’t advertised that it had no windows that opened to the outside. "This was the perfect, most charming place to stay for our overnight in Cookham. The room was absolutely spotless and was decorated like home. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed bubble baths in the huge tub. The pub itself is beautiful, and we loved having our drinks by the fireplace. Highly recommend!"

"We had a lovely weekend stay for my partner’s birthday. The views from the room were beautiful and it was really nice to have a private balcony overlooking the river. It was only a couple of minutes drive to Bray Village, which was perfect, as we were having dinner at one of the restaurants. "I’m d highly recommended. I took my son for 2 nights & we had a twin room. Has so many positives for the price, it’s actually amazing value for money. My only negative is that the housekeeper mustn’t of looked inside the kettle because it wasn’t pleasant and needs replacing. But I just used the kitchen kettle for my morning coffees. "

"This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."

The parking area is quite extensive allowing more than enough room for hotel and restaurant guests.
