"It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. "I didn't expect much from this hotel other than being close to the airport and clean. The check-in clerk was super insistent that it was a non-smoking room, but as soon as we went in our room it smelled like someone had hot boxed a pack of Marlboros about 12 seconds before we got there. We were too tired to care so we opened a window and went to sleep. The next day I went to the front desk to ask for some air freshener for the room. The new clerk gave me the 3rd degree about why I didn't report...

"My friend and I needed a hotel for 3 nights to visit a family in the area. We checked in late and a lovely couple met us to give us the key. The building is older but well kept and very clean. The room we had appeared to be updated. The shower was nice, towels, coffee pot with cups and small packages of sugar/creamer etc. I will say it was VERY clean. We were very comfortable. It's not the Four Seasons but it was exactly what we had hoped for in this northern Maine area. We will be staying there...

"Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of available parking. Lots of breakfast options and staff was available to refresh items quickly. Only complaint was that the eggs (cooked over-medium? over-hard?) were cold and and kinda rubbery. Overall, good value for the price."
