"I don’t usually leave reviews—in fact, this is my first one. But I really wanted to write a review for this hotel. After spending hours and hours and hours searching for hotels in Paris, I decided to choose this one based on price and reviews. I read both good and bad comments, and many of the negative ones came from people from the U.S. who are used to something different. However, after staying here with my family for 4 nights, I honestly have absolutely nothing negative to say about this...

"We absolutely loved our stay here -- this was our first time in Paris, and the location was perfect: close enough to train lines and neat neighborhoods, but a bit removed from the crowded trendy areas. There were plenty of little shops to grab what we needed (grocery, pharmacy) and an abundance of cafes and bakeries for breakfast. Our last day was Tuesday, and there was a market in the little park in front of the hotel which was lovely to walk through. The room was nice and big with a view out...

"Le Clark Hotel was fabulous! Lovely owner, staff and location. Room is in mint condition and had all the amenities. We stayed 4 nights and were thrilled with our choice. "

"Staff is not that friendly. Language might be the problem??? Booked two rooms and one of them got leaking problem in the bathroom. It took them two days to fix."

"The room was very clean, small but more than enough room for just me. The staff, every one of them, were excellent. For breakfast they had a large array of foods. From bacon and sausage and eggs to bread and an excellent cheese selection, yogurts and cereal and baked goods"

"Great hotel and location. Rooms are well decorated and comfortable. Metro is less than a five minute walk and there are some darling restaurants and bakeries around the area, as well as small markets. Although it’s close to a busy area, the room was quiet. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and kind. After a long day of exploring, they also have a really nice steam room and sauna. Highly recommend this place! "

"Stayed for 3 nights in April, we didn’t eat the breakfast but it was offered at 15E PP. Our comfort room was small but adequate as a base to explore from. The fridge included a couple of cans of coke and water which was appreciated. A safe was also in the room and accessed via a pin. The front desk was manned 24hrs and you handed in and collected your key every time you went out. Staff extremely friendly and we were able to leave our luggage after check out. Hotel was just round the corner...

"Kein Gepäckservice, kein Schrank, kein warmes Wasser vor 7:00 Uhr morgens, das Waschbecken verstopft, Gestank in der Dusche, Zimmer hat nach Putzmitteln gestunken und Fenster war nicht zu öffnen. Hotel ist sehr hellhörig. Frühstück war in Ordnung. "

"The private hot tub steam shower option was nice 50 free minutes came with the hotel room. Rooms are small.The breakfast was not great. Not many options and short staffing required waits for Coffee and Service. Really nice location though "
