"We liked the closeness to the Island Queen. Room was very basic. No clock, no tv channel list. Carpet in the room was not clean. Coffee cups were small, no lids or hot cup carrier. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Very noisy. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"You’re mostly paying for location and access to the pools. Rooms are old and outdated; pretty pricey for all economy finishes and an old spring mattress. With that said, the location is great, parking was easy, & it wasn’t undoable. Staff was reserved but there if needed."

"We enjoyed our stay at the MV Surfside Hotel. The staff is the primary reason our visit was so relaxing and comfortable. It was evident that everyone works very hard to maintain the facility and provide excellent guest services. The location adds value to the experience.
