"Although the hotel is a little dated, it is well maintained and made up for it with its fridendly and helpful staff. A specail thank you to Maya at receiption, who make out check in smooh and welcoming. The location is not the most convenient, especially for getting to the main shopping and transport areas, but we appreciated that the hotel provideds a complimentary shuttle service, which was very helpful. Top Malacca City Hotel Reviews

Hatten Hotel Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"Cleanliness and quiet, quite a convenient location with shops close by and a short ride to the old town."

Rosa Malacca

10/10 Excellent

"Clean room. Nice decorations. Friendly staff"

Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"Comfortable room..great views..pool was fantastic. Great selection at breakfast. Easy walking to pld town area..eateries nearby."

The Shore Hotel & Residences

8/10 Good

"The hotel is managed with a 24-hr check in counter with housekeeping on standby, Daily room cleaning or towel change is not provided unless if you request for it. The breakfast provides a wide variety and the food was fresh and delicious. One downside is the elevator crowd during peak hours where we had to wait a long time for the elevator to arrive and a long time inside the elevator to reach our floor. The hotel tried to mitigate the situation by having a staff to operate the elevator but I am unsure how effective this is. As such, all travellers should plan their timings to accomodate this added waiting time. Location wise, the hotel is located in a central area with plenty of food options around. A short taxi ride away will bring you to major attractions. Overall, I still think it is a good hotel to stay in even with the minor inconveniences."

Casa del Rio Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"Great location for seeing Malacca - can do most things on foot and if booked at reception the river cruise picks up from hotel jetty"

ibis Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"[WHAT WE LOVED] EVERYTHING! Location (within 10 minutes walk to Jonker Street), clean, spacious, lights on bathroom mirror (convenient for make up), direct USB charger, nice bed and pillows and bolsters, water dispenser, friendly and helpful staffs, no smoking hotel! Overall it's a big big like for ibis! ——— ——— ——— [AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT] The facilities wear off a bit. Can see some minor parts (toilet bowl) chipped off, and toilet door is hard to close (need to push / pull very hard for the door latch to fit) but overall not impacting the staying experience as it is clean and in good location. (Might want to consider replacing the toilet seat cover in the lobby restroom?) ——— ——— ——— [OVERALL] Definitely one of my top choices for Melaka accommodation."

The Pines Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel and room was great at the price point, just unfortunate didn't manage to get any early check-in on the day of arrival. In fact, only got keys to room 15 mins after the standard check-in time. Apart from that, enjoyed the balcony in the room and the large bathtub too. Buffet Breakfast was great with a wide selection of food. Hotel is also located within walking distance with good food options. Oh, another thing. Love the pool, that actually comes with sea salt rather than the usual chlorine, which does more wonders for hair and skin than the chlorine would."

Bayview Hotel Melaka

10/10 Excellent

"Ideal hotel with adjoining rooms for a big family in centre of town and multi-storey parking."
