The area is the best you will find in central Lugano. There is a funicular next to the hotel taking you directly to Lugano train station. The lake is 200m walk. The service is as good as any hotel I have ever been. The staff and very friendly and helpful. They helped me plan my trip to the two main Lugano mountains. A recently renovated property that feels like you're staying at vineyard, yet is only a few minutes drive from Lugano center.

Pictures do not do this place justice. The garden view is amazing with visibility of lake lugano and the distant mountains. Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I loved the breakfast, it's simple but very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel

We were so lucky to find this hotel at short notice. Perfectly positioned next to the lake in Como. The hotel has only just opened after extensive refurbishment and it is beautiful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the service was first class. The roof top bar is beautiful with views across the lake and the old town. The service and staff are superb!!! They are very helpful. The room is beautiful with generous amenities. The host at the rooftop, Dario, provide us and complimentary snack and drink. I will definitely stay at Vista Lago di Como for my next visit.

Had the perfect stay at Hotel Garni Corona and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to come to Lake Como. In my opinion, it is in the best location with only a short walk to the ferry and bus stops. Not as busy as Bellagio or Varenna and proved to be the ideal base location. Plenty of restaurants, cafe’s and gelato spots right next to the hotel. Would highly recommend the room with the lake view! Beautiful room with beautiful views, perfectly located close to the lake, shops, restaurants. Cannot fault the staff and their breakfast service was lovely. The bathroom was gorgeous!

Stayed in an Executive Double Room Lake View for 4 nights. Fabulous break. Hotel was outstanding and we could not have wished for a more attentive service. Made to feel special. Excellent concierge service, even buying our rail tickets for Milan from the station. The most wonderful breakfast experience - fabulous spread and choice and particularly enjoyed the Homemade yogurt. homemade Jams, homemade breads homemade croissants (4 varieties) all too delicious, finishing with a Prosecco....

Our room was wheelchair friendly but we couldn’t access the terrace where breakfast was served and looked at the lake. The staff were very helpful getting breakfast sorted in our room though, but we didn’t have a view there. The hotel was in an amazing situation but the reception felt a little unfriendly but once settled we felt much more welcome. The staff were all friendly and helpful with great restaurant recommendation and taxi booking too.
