Very unique hotel at an affordable price. The staff was extremely friendly and great location. The breakfast was delicious and onsite parking was helpful.

This was a lovely property with interesting history. The new owner was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic. Great location for seeing New England in the fall, & easy parking.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, booked on the fly. The elevator was not working but the staff was quick to get us and our bags to our room.

It’s a beautiful historic building in a great location. The staff is super friendly, rooms are spacious, very clean, comfortable and updated. Breakfast is great, there’s fresh coffee available for many hours and yummy welcoming cookies. What more could we ask?!

Friendly staff, nice location within walking distance to the downtown, cool old building. Clean but do not look too close. The heater was a real issue, the room was over 70 degrees when we arrived. The staff member who brought our luggage up shut the heat off and opened a window that we could not get shut. Luckily we like to sleep in a colder room. Breakfast was OK, really good house made granola but it ran out and they did not have more. Might stay there again but not so sure.

This is a cool historic mansion like place to stay, built in the 1800’s. Our room was totally renovated, super clean and the bed was amazing. Our only complaint was that it was a bit chilly in there and we couldn’t adjust the temp warmer. Lots of covers on the bed so we slept warm enough. The restaurant was closed but they served a decent continental breakfast and the coffee was good. The staff was awesome too. We’d stay there again!

Best customer service we have ever had at a place we stayed over night! Room was amazing bed was comfortable we suggested room with a balcony. Breakfast was great can't wait for restaurant to open as well. Owner saved us our vehicles battery died and if he didn't help we would of been in trouble can't thank him enough. Can't wait to stay again!

I love the charm of a historic country Inn. The new ownership it’s working on upgrades and the new mattresses provided the best night sleep we had had in a long time. Our room was the king with the turret sitting area. The room was very spacious and we really enjoyed the private balcony and the comfortable furniture. Our host had a gift for hospitality. The homemade granola was amazing. That’s vegetarians. We will look forward to the hot oatmeal in the future.

Loved staying at The Centennial. Lovely neighborhood w parks, academics, restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and accommodating, even for folks traveling with dogs. Fresh coffee, pastries and yogurt for breakfast were delicious. Spacious room with crisp clean sheets. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful building and easy parking. The staff was very cheerful. You may want to plan on having breakfast elsewhere. Very little was left by 8:45am. Unfortunately the elevator was out of order and the restaurant was closed. EV charging is available but at a very expensive $15 per charge.

The hotel has a lot of character with its cool architecture. I probably would not have selected this hotel if I knew the elevator was out of service and the restaurant was closed. They upgraded our room, which was nice, when the room originally given to us was occupied by someone else. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Finding the stairs was confusing, we ended up on stairs that took us through the kitchen that was so filthy its no wonder the restaurant was closed, it made me not want to eat the complimentary breakfast. It's a cool place but needs some deep cleaning and paint.

I was excited to stay here and the staff is exceptionally. My bathroom was dirty. The shower had mold all over it. The sink was not cleaned at all! The shower glass door had soap scum all over it. I tried to clean it with soap and water and it came clean. The complimentary breakfast consisted with actually cold scrambled eggs. Like chilly, cold eggs. I’m so disappointed, it really could be a lovely place. Also the glade plug ins, creates an over powering smell when you walk in. Not pleasant at all.

We arrived at the hotel around 8 pm and we were told that our room was not ready. Came after a very long journey and the whole town was booked. I don’t know what was going on, they were acting very discreet. We had to go out, and get dinner and come back for the room to be ready. This is very unusual. The day after, front door staff was acting like nothing happened. We are disappointed.

Based on the age of the hotel and the architecture, I was expecting more charm and cool features in the room. Parking was great. Hard to believe that the elevator has been out of service as long as it has. I’m sure it’s a huge ADA violation.

Beautiful historic building with charm and character. Our room was big and very comfortable, the bed was great and most importantly the HVAC was whisper quiet. Only issue was the elevator was out of order but not a big deal as they gave us a room on the second floor.
