"The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. "

"Read the reviews and was slightly put off. But having spent the whole weekend at the hotel, my mind was changed. Staff were very helpful with all questions and information needed. Grounds and views are lovely. Used the spa and pool and enjoyed every minute. Check in and out was very easy, food was amazing (especially the lamb). Will definitely be back to visit in the next few weeks. Only thing I would ask if bottles of water could be put in the annex room, as im very fussy and refuse to drink...

The owners are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local area and the staff were really lovely. "The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. It just needs a bit deeper clean and there was piles of rubbish just outside the kitchen. The room was also a bit tired. Beds were comfy and there was tea, coffee,...
