"I'm baffled by the glowing reviews for this establishment. Our stay was marred by several issues. The hot tub water had a putrid smell, reminiscent of rotten bleach, and it's evident that the filtration system hasn't been maintained. Sadly, the entire facility appears outdated and neglected. Our morning encounter with a sleeping (snoring!!) staff member at the front desk was also unimpressive, and the pillows in our room had a foul odor. "Don't stay here if you have high to average expectations for what a hotel should be. This property is in serious need of some TLC. Our room was dirty and run down. The elevator button on the 4th floor had a cover plate that was too small, so you could see the wires behind on one side, and the plate was taped onto the wall on the other side. Our lamp shades were dirty, one lamp was broken, the curtains were filthy, there was a crack in the ceiling, and the walls were dirty. Our room was...

"Can't come up with anything we thought needed improvement. We were very satisfied with the shuttle service to Mayo. So glad we didn't have to drive especially with the construction."

"The front desk person called hours prior to my stay to inform me that a king bed was no longer available due to reconstruction. I kept it anyway assuming we'd get 2 queens when he said it was a double. But it was one bed. The night was interrupted with noises from the heater in the room and construction sound in the early am. In the morning we went to get breakfast but everything was out. The waffle machine was empty, the juice was only water coming out. So we left. We will not rebook at...

"No towels in the pool area, weight room and fewer than needed in our room. The shower only had scalding hot mode. Terrible. Overall rated 2 out of 5 "

"Pool was not very nice looking and long hair floating in it grossed me out the room I was in the heater was very load I kept thinking semi’s were using there jack brakes or someone was plowing out my window beds not that comfortable pretty hard. I felt like someone was watching on a camera just a weird feeling wasn’t a fan for a young lady staying alone "

"Front desk staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The bottles of water at check in were much appreciated as was the hot breakfast. I would have given a 5 star rating if the lighting in the room had been better. It was very dim and dark with the window coverings closed. Maybe switch to LED bulbs? Also, there wasn't a working fan in the bathroom."
