"We had an excellent week at Il Querciolo. It is an ideal location for a base to explore Tuscany with Arezzo, Siena and Florence all within easy reach. If you prefer quieter smaller towns, there are plenty to choose from, such as Cortona, Monte San Savino, Gargonza, Lucignano, Castiglion Fiorentino - all close by. Cesare and family were amazing hosts and provided a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions of places to visit. They also produce some amazing wine, which you have to try when you stay....

It never felt welcoming & it was challenging to discern who were the owners, staff or guests. It was often unclear how their systems operated, ie how to purchase wine/drinks, when dinner or breakfast would be available & the service was extremely slow.
