"The hotel is a beautiful grand old lady. Very elegant. From the front entrance with the courtyard and its babbling fountain through the elegant lobby to the "parlor" with its charming cozy fireplace, we found it delightful. All the staff could not have been more helpful! They were pleasant and personable and went out of their way to be friendly...Alexis and Gretchen were lovely and made us feel right at home. "Absolutely beautiful hotel! We stayed at room #5 which was a stand alone unit so it was basically like a little apartment. It had a beautiful interior and a fully stocked kitchen as well. The owner Jantzen was super friendly and helpful. The whole property was gorgeous. The next we come to Marfa we will be staying here again for sure!"

"I mean you get what you pay for! Good, but the whole place was just..meh. Our room had holes in the walls and ceiling. There were dead bugs in the tub, one of our rooms there was a huge crack in the bottom of the tub! The beds move every time you roll over or just try to sit on them. The WiFi wasn’t all that great. The breakfast was alright. The pancake mashing was acting up a little bit and instead of fixing and cleaning it they lady just turned it off.. The staff was friendly the whole time...

"The continental breakfast was depleted by 9 o’clock when it was supposed to continue until 930. Food had to be brought back to the room to eat as there was only one small table in that area, no TV. There is also a spider on the floor of the room that was the size of a tarantula No extra blankets or pillows were available in the room and the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was so old it still has springs in it. The check in was completed by a child. Very overpriced."

"Probably my worst hotel experience ever. Hotel is under complete renovation. Construction material and waste littered throughout the hotel. My room had been about 90% renovated, and in my opinion shouldn’t have been bookable. I’m really disappointed with Holiday Inn Express experience. Mostly upset that they didn’t disclose to would be customers that the hotel was under construction. I would not have stayed there had they disclosed this. Do not stay at this hotel until construction...
