"The room itself was nice. It was clean and updated. The hotel had a nice terrace. Unfortunately the hotel had a pretty frequent sewage smell that built during the night. The fume/sewage gas smell was strong if the windows were closed at all. The housekeeping women were very nice and helpful. The manager was nice, but didn’t give much help. He was unable to give directions/options for dining in the area. I would pick a different area of Italy to visit."

"Be aware that if you plan to cruise or use the airport shuttle, do your research. The location is not close to the cruise port, so you will pay a lot in taxi fares. The airport shuttle only runs from 9 am to 5 pm. If you have a large group, they will not accommodate the whole group, plus you have to reserve in advance. "A lovely hotel, very clean, colourful and calming. The spa and thermal pool are wonderful and the rooftop pool has a beautiful view of the tree topped hillside. The staff are the really impressive part of the stay however, incredibly nice and smiley, helpful and understanding. The only possible drawback would be its location if you plan on moving around the island a lot, as it’s elevated on the hillside. I didn’t mind this at all though, and the shuttle service helped a lot."
