"Das Hotel ist schon am Ortsrand gelegen, es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze und die Lage lädt zu Spaziergängen in der Natur ein. Mach dem Pächterwechsel wirkt das Hotel gepflegter als vorher, hier und da wäre ein Update aber schön, beispielsweise bei den Teppichböden oder der Ausstattung im Bad. Das Frühstück ist gut, eher basic, aber auch günstig. Großes Plus: Hund durfte kostenlos dabei sein. Das Verhältnis von Preis und Leistung ist aber insgesamt gut. Wir kommen bei Gelegenheit wieder."

We arrived late evening so the restaurant was no longer open and there is no place close by to get snacks or anything. Had drinks in the bar area which were really good but having a pizza oven or something to heat up or make some appetizers would have really made it better. Staff were very friendly"

"In such high altitude, with the vanishing winter and melting snow, there are really a lot to explore in oberhof. The stay at the hotel was excellent and authentic. Die Rezeptionsdame geht schon 19.30 Uhr statt 20 Uhr. Die Treppen sind abgenutzt und schmutzig. Die Kinder rennen lärmend durch den Speisesaal. Das Essen wird nicht nachgefüllt. The staff person was quite nice and helpful, and while the front is not open all the time, it's easy to get in and out.
