"Super clean, quiet spot. Walkable to everything. Fernando, the owner, is amazing! He was quick with communication and we felt safe and welcomed. Very comfortable beds. The kitchenette was stoked with everything needed to cook our own meals. We enjoyed being here so much, we booked two more nights. Highly recommend this spot. It's in walking distance to Mercado 28, restaurants, and shops. Thank you Fernando! We will be recommending your beautiful home to everyone we know. "

"Es un lugar muy accesible, un hotel céntrico que tiene todo lo necesario a su alrededor. Las personas que se encuentran en recepción muy amables, muy limpio todo siempre. Solamente tal vez las cortinas de habitación deben cubrir toda la ventana ya que la luz muy temprano entra, y algunos llegan a descansar, la puerta de entrada a la habitación debe ser más segura para niños, que no se abra tan fácil. Sin embargo, si regresaría a hospedarme a este hotel."

"Hotel El Rey del Caribe is my new favorite hotel! I stayed one night and felt very sad to leave. It's the perfect oasis in the hustle and bustle of Cancun. Our room was clean with comfortable beds and linens, and very well equipped for a short or long stay, the pool was delightful as was the outdoor shower, the gardens were lush and beautiful, the complimentary breakfast was decent and appreciated, and the service was good! I truly wouldn't change a thing, and I hope this thoughtfully designed...

"I don't know how this hotel gets 9+ reviews and is rated as a 4-star hotel, then labeled as "luxury" by Expedia. It is sub-3 stars at best in my opinion. Yes, everything in their photos is physically there, then photoshopped to look much nicer. The rooms are aged, the bathroom is old and small, you can't get into the shower without closing the bathroom door kind of tiny. We don't find anything not clean, but because everything is kind of old, you don't feel clean or relaxed either. The staff is...

"The hotel was located in a prime location close to many restaurants and bars just outside the front entrance. The pool was nice with a good bar next to it and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I liked the fact breakfast was served from 7am-12pm. The hotel's cleanliness was satisfactory overall with nothing to complain about. Here's a useful tip, when flying into Cancun take an ADO bus to the central terminal in downtown Cancun. From there it's only a simple 8 minute walk to the hotel...
