"Cheaper option than stating in Basel. Only a 25min tram from the city centre. We chose this location for the local German parkrun. Hotel was basic but very clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast continental and good value for money. We were positioned at the back of the hotel which was very quiet."

"This was our second time staying in this hotel. All good though the kitchen sink in room 528 needs to be replaced ASAP, it’s disgusting to pump up the water to be drained at all times. Thank you"

"We stayed for 2 nights, nice clean hotel, spacious room. Very hot in the room but large free standing fan supplied which was very useful. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast well presented and variety of options for everyone. We ate in the restaurant - lovely food, great service. Local tram ride to Basel very easy to negotiate. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend."

"This was a secret find! A treasure of a place tucked up in the hills near the Black Forest. Historical charm, excellent room and breakfast. Wellness center exceeded my expectations. Lovely staff and easy parking. Across the street is a nice park and the town square and access to the ruins are walkable."
