"The room smells clean as you come in, always a great start. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are ensuite with a little kitchen area, all decorated differently. We had a little table to eat at as well. Chocolates and home made Welsh cakes with milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Self check in with a pin code key box. Building felt secure. Great views of the hills from the top room. Street parking available just outside the front door. A couple of convenience stores very close. Great location for visiting...

"This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. "The hotel was attached to a pub. The doors to the rooms have glass panels as the rooms are little out houses. Last night there was a kids disco so the kids were running around the rooms waking everyone until 1:30 in the morning and as the kids ran around the security lights came on lighting the room us as there are no curtains or blinds on the doors. There was an argument at 3 oclock so once again the lights came on. Some idiot kid tried to get into the room. Horrendous, never ever fo there."

"It’s a nice small inn for staying a couple of nights. The room must be recently renovated with a nice bathroom. The only surprise was that I booked with breakfast but the hotel only provided a simple breakfast ; coffee and toast. Otherwise you need to pay extra. I wish they stayed more information on their booking information regarding the breakfast options. To me it’s a little bit too cheap for them to operate their business in this way."

"Booked at short notice, the staff were very accommodating and the hotel easy to be in with a family. The rooms were lovely. The view from the property is stunning, we will definitely return. The only downside was the lack of gluten free options available from the bar menu. That is something that perhaps we could have mitigated had we not booked at short notice. The breakfast had all gluten free options available and was great. Strongly recommend a stay here."
