"The room, while a little dated, was very clean and comfortable. It had the amenities we were looking for and was within walking distance of the cable car, Te Papa, Cuba street and the Oriental bay areas. In addition, our arrival was delayed until about 10 pm, 2 hours past the time the reception desk is staffed. Within minutes of me informing them by phone that we would be late they sent me the information for late check-in which was a very easy process and did not delay us reaching our room."

"The location was good The first impression was OK Homwever the furnishings are stained and very worn and the couch was very uncomfortable The unit as stuffy especially the bedroom and it you opened a door the noise was disturbing . Our major concern was how slippery the bath became when showering and we consider the bathroom hazardous with no rail to steady oneself when exiting a slippery bath."

"The bed was comfortable, the laundry facilities were convenient and worked well, and the staff were very friendly. The room was in good condition, and the shower was hot with good pressure. Overall no complaints. The hotel was located in a quiet area - I had a room right above the main road on a Saturday night and had no issues with noise. It was very close to the main rail and bus station, easily walkable with a suitcase. The only thing I would warn is that there weren't any restaurants or...
