Dear Chizoba, It seems you didn't like your stay with us, but it would have been interesting to know the reason why… We asked all the time at our guests during the stay if everything is fine. Hello, Thank you for your review and happy to read that on general you have appreciated your stay with us. Honestly, we expected you write something wronger in reason of the non-alcoholic zone in the riad. really sorry that we don't serve alcohol has been difficult for you… I don't why this had to be written in the booking condition on Expedia. You have decided to travel in a muslim country, so you can expect to have difficulties to find alcohol. Anyway if this was so was so important and necessary for you we have indicated you where you can find. It's not as you wrote at 20 minutes by walk but at 5 minutes from the riad (The Foundouk restaurant and le Trou au mur, both have license). You have chosen to stay in a Medina and it's protect place where it's difficult to find alcohol. About the cash paiement, it's written in our website condition, it's indicated in our first welcoming email and finally we repeated it to you when you arrive. Your final bill in cas was less than 100 euros, which is not so much to pay in cash… About heater, in common zone of cours it's winter and the courtyard I open. But in the evening there is a roof and gaz heater and in dining room there is a fireplace and electric central heater. Marrakech is at only 1 hour from the mountain and of cours educing winter time it can be cold. But I'm surprise about this review because meanwhile I wore wool pull over, you wore simple Sumer tee-shirt…  Happy that anyway you find your room warm. I'm really sorry about this and appreciate that anyway you have liked the friendliness of our staff.

Dear Nico, It's difficult to give explanation about a bad notation when there is no review. Anyway, we think to know why you have let a bad notation after your stay in our guest house. You wanted to have an early check-in which was complicated for us but our maid has the best she could to clean and tidy up the room. Because you have had a red-eye-flight you were exhausted and you have slept during all the afternoon with the AC. When you went out, you said everything was fine in the room. When you came back around 10 pm, you have tried several time to use the AC and maybe because you have switch on and switch off several times the AC remote, without waiting the time for the AC to start, you have blocked the system. You went down and ask us to give you another room, if not you didn't want to stay anymore in the riad. Fortunately, we had one bedroom available and we have settle you in this new room. On the morning, you apologized about your reaction of the night before and said with jet lag you felt very nervous. Anyway, to be excused of the issue with AC (which finally worked but because of the multiple sollicitation was out of order the day before) I had done a discount of 20 %. At the check out, you said everything was perfect… You can imagine my surprise hen I saw this bad notation, and if there is anything else than your "issue" with AC, I will be happy to know it. really sorry if don't enjoy your stay and anyway I hope to see you again to not keep a bad idea of us.

Considering your bad notation, wee are sorry you haven't be happy with us but in fact you had made the choice to not come at the riad. A few days before you ask to cancel for free your reservation. As written on our booking conditions and as you know it, we charge 100% a last minute cancellation. We are a small structure and for us it's a big lost we ca't afford. By revenge, you have let this bad notation, which is your right. It's a pity you didn't came and in spite of this we hope you will give us another chance if you come back at Marrakech.

Indeed the room you occupied is small, but since a few days we have extend it with a private patio lounge and private pool. We hope you will come back to see the changes!

Our riad is located in a traditional area, which give you the occasion to see the moroccan life in a safe environnement. We are not agree with you about the distance with sightseeing: we are 2 minutes by walk from Maison de la photographie, 5 from Medersa Ben Youssef and the touristic souk. And the main square is only 10 minutes by walk… About the cleanliness, we are very confused about this and we apologize. We check all the time the rooms before arrival and we clean each day the rooms. But we all make mistakes and maybe it was the case for your room. Thank you for the advice and we will be more vigilant in the future. Anyway we hope to see you again.
