"Port Townsend is an old charming town and everything in it is old so set your expectations accordingly. This is a motel. I stayed for 1 week for an event at Centrum and this motel had almost everything I needed. A small fridge, coffee maker, wi-fi, microwave, comfortable bed, quiet (even though it's near the main road into town), nice hot shower, great parking and a 5-minute drive to Fort Worden. The food coop is right next door. The beach practically across the street and it's walking distance to the main town area. I read complaints about the thin towels so took my own and I recommend you do the same. Also bring your own shampoo. They provide tiny packets of shampoo containing about 1/2 teaspoon each of product that are near impossible to open while you are showering. I opened 3 and it still didn't cover my hair. I thought the nightly rate was pricey for a motel, but it was competitive as there aren't a lot of choices. The staff was very nice."
