"The room was spotless, the design and finishes were fantastic, and it was a peaceful escape from the busy streets of Castro in San Francisco. The staff were super helpful and got back to me quickly. Expedia had a $34 food credit on my reservation, but the hotel couldn’t use it, so the staff mentioned they’re looking into a refund."

We got there early in the day and expected to have them hold our bags and return later to check in but they gave us a happy surprise when they said they had a room available for us. One note - the rooms aren't quiet to outdoor sounds. That didn't bother us because were where there for a party which was on property."

"Hotel Garrett was a wonderful stay and it was clean and was nicely designed. I know there are complaints about the area being sketchy, but this what SF has become everywhere due to the City not helping it's people and not the fault of the hotel. I appreciate the very secure lock lobby door to keep things safe and felt very welcomed by the staff! The breakfast is small but had delicious pastries from a local bakery. "
