"The actual hotel is rundown and old, nothing like the photos make it seem. The walls are so dirty and the carpet definitely needs to be replaced. Made the mistake of not looking up the area before booking; absolutely terrible. Lots of homeless. The staff was friendly, which was the only positive about this hotel. "

"The Perramont is in a great location close to the Castro and just steps from Muni which made getting around easy. I really appreciated the daily maid service having fresh towels and the bed made each day was awesome. The showers and bathrooms were cleaned regularly, and although there was some remodeling happening (which meant fewer bathrooms available on the floor), everything was well maintained. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a desk that made it easy for me to...

"This hotel was great. Breakfast each day was hearty, room was cleaned each day of our stay, the staff was pleasant. There was plenty of parking outside and in an underground garage. If you can get past the homeless people outside (they didn't bother us) and the general filth of the tenderloin district then this hotel is great. "
