Sketchy area for sure. Lots of homeless in the area. Our room backed into the alley and it was so noisy! The venting of the Portable A/C unit was not sealed very well, letting in lots of noise, like the people in the alley were right in the room. A damaged shower curtain meant water went all over the floor when showering. The front desk clerk in the morning was wonderful, the evening clerk, not so much. Extra fee was not mentioned until we got there. Included breakfast was abismal! Would not stay here again.

There was a miscommunication regarding charges of the fees that it took escalating to the hotel management for resolution. If you're unfamiliar with San Francisco, there's a significant homeless population, but no one made me feel unsafe. The hotel is close to public transport, but has no frills. No fridge or microwave in room. Continental breakfast was not great.

The “front desk” is staffed with one person, so the queues to check in were unimaginably long. It should not take 20 minutes to check in. And if there are guests in the waiting area to check in, you should not answer the phone, or if you do, you should place them on hold and address the guests in person first.

Not worth the stay , be ready for 100 unexpected charges a day , 20 destination fee 65.00 minimum parking goes up if you have larger car and taxed twice. The location is a slum , homeless all over doing drugs and pooping on the sidewalks in the middle of the day.

We had 2 nights in the Fiona hotel. The Netflix chrome cast was not working but staff was friendly and when we asked he gived to us HDMI cable. Area around hotel was dirty, but the hotel look really clean and comfortable. Thank you

The property is great I stayed in the mark twain suite which was very nice, the area around it is alright it’s near the tenderloin so of course there is a large homeless population but it really won’t affect the stay, there’s a secure parking garage with 24/7 security which is really great in any city and the girl at the front desk when I checked in (around 10 pm) was so nice and helpful
