"This property only has one restaurant which could be a downside. There is some food across the street you could walk to, otherwise, you will need to shop for food to cook in your unit. The food at the restaurant was amazing there. The units are a bit older and could use some updating, especially the shower, however it was comfortable and the view from our room was incredible. Having a washer/dryer was the key for us. They started replacing the carpeting throughout the hallways to the units but...
"Our stay at the Royal Lahaina was magical. The ambiance, view, food, drinks, atmosphere, were exceptional. The breakfast buffet and trolley to nearby centers were a nice compliment, and the staff was always very helpful and friendly. We had such an amazing honeymoon at this hotel, I actually cried when we left! We visited a few nearby resorts for food and drink (even the Ritz), and each time we mentioned how much we liked ours better. The beach was like our own, and we even saw a sea turtle...
"We stayed 10 nights at the Whaler, we had a studio with ocean view and a kitchen. The hotel was very nice, the bed was really comfortable. The staff was very nice and really responsive. "

"I loved the pool and yoga classes. It was the kind of place that the entire family loved. I was sorry I didn't book it for 2-3 nights. Helpful staff and beautiful grounds."
"Liked the pools, waterslide, view, beach, Duke's, sunset, staff was friendly, able to get towels at any time, we were able to get pool lounge chairs even though we got out late, bell service is fast, friendly, and courteous. Maintenance was fast, as well.
We had an ocean view but it was just partial ocean view. We upgraded from mountain view.
Overall, we had a great time. "
"A plus for the staff. The resort amenities and activities made the stay worthwhile. After a long day we just sank in the comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed at the Hokupa’a tower which included access to the Lanai. The view from the terrace is magnificent and the access to the Lanai includes breakfast and small bites and dinner items from 5-7pm. We watched most sunsets at the Lanai while sipping cocktails in front of the infinity pool. "
