"A nice hotel with clean rooms, easy check-in and check-out, with free parking for hotel guests in a car park connected to the hotel for easy access. The staff was friendly but did have a standoff-ish vibe that make it uncomfortable when I was asking for recommendations as they only seemed to have pushed their hotel's restaurant when asking for local pubs nearby. "The room was very clean. We did not have a free breakfast. It’s more of a hotel that happens to be attached to an old castle so it’s not like the other castles around Ireland. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The food at the Knights club was very good. The shower was very nice. It had a rain showerhead and a handheld. They provided shampoo and shower gel. Parking was free."

"It's a beautiful hotel and the dinner we had at the restaurant was excellent. We were also very happy with the shuttle service to and from the airport. However, for the price we paid, I expected air conditioning in our room, or at least a circulating fan to use. The one window opened only a sliver and it got pretty stuffy in our room fairly quickly. That was during May; I can't imagine what it would be like during a summer heat wave."

"All Staff are Extremely kind and Helpful. Apart from a minority, the majority are nice and smiling. Rooms were clean and the cleaning staff were very kind and responsive. The restaurant was excellent. Some chefs(the ones who distribute food) looked very angry and somehow irritated appetite! Generally, the place was peaceful and beautiful. By the way, lack of fridge was very unusual! However, when I have requested, the beautiful receptionist made it happen right away."

I can’t say enough about the staff - we arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there with no problem. I injured myself and they were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful.
