The room was decent, had very poor lighting. The bed was comfortable and the shower and bathroom were great! I guess by mistake the staff through out one of my wifes sandles which was in these long socks that were also thrown out.

Right by the beach

This has direct access to the beach with a great view. The service is great with a bar by the pool. They will even serve you on the beach side when you are relaxing by the provided areas with the chairs and shade. Service was great and the staff was very helpful. The Malecon is like a 4 min walk away from the hotel. There are iguanas that hang by the pool which I really enjoyed but if you don't be warned. Overall can't complain on the price I paid and the amenities offered.

My husband and I went on a birthday trip, the reception employees weren’t very friendly. However check in was smooth. First thing we noticed once in our room was that it felt dirty…. There was sand on the floor and hair in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. As long as you leave the AC on you won’t hear any outside noise.

Rooom: water damage . There was water on rhe floor. We could not figure out from where it was caming from. There was a thunderstorm but everything was closed. There were other familiy members staying in other hotel but they were not allowed by their security to enter the bar to join us or walk along side with us even though the beach connected both hotels. I recomend staying in hotel las flores they gave us excelent service regarless we were not staying there. I would not recomend or go back to gaviana resort.

We recently stayed at the Gaviana over valentines week. We had a wonderful time, staff were very nice and accommodating. Location ways great, only complaint was our room faced the nightclub next door and it was very loud on the weekends at night, we knew that going into it from our research though. I would definitely stay here again!

In love with my experience at Gaviana Resort. One of my best experiences in a resort, The place is amazing very clean and pretty. Love that it’s very close to everything. The only con about the resort is their Wifi. Not the best connection but other that i recommend this resort.

The hotel resort is nice. Not the best. On service they tried to make it good. Got my room and didn't have towels, had to call front desk. My floor my dirty, had ask them sweep it while I was there. Not all rooms have safe. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my passports in our room. Easy walking access to stores, vendors and restaurants. Bought a cooler to keep my drinks cold in my room, because no fridge. Expect loud music at night if your not a party person. Got to see cool Iguanas!!

This property is a great place if you’re looking to have a great time in party. Also they have many restaurants and nightclubs walking distance. If you don’t like loud music and party this property is not for you. My family love it.

It was a great place! our room was so spacious! I have little kids and it was perfect for us! I know theres a club on weeknights and it was a tad tough to sleep but you get use to it. Everyone who works here is amazing! There helpful and so nice!
